Genesis SMAC
Review of Our First Expedition
Alright OG’s, let's debrief on the Genesis SMAC. It was our first live test, and while we didn't conquer every objective, we gathered a ton of valuable data. Think of it as a successful recon mission into uncharted territory. We deployed the SMAC, it funded faster than expected (14mins), and our AI-powered token acquisition algorithm worked like a swiss watch, identifying a suitable target and securing 35% of its total supply. So far, so good. We even managed to keep the price impact minimal during the acquisition, which is a big win.
Once we had the target in the digital vault, the newly appointed CTO team, comprised of dedicated community members, jumped into action. They were in constant communication with the OG.fun dev team, coordinating the "de-rug" operation. The initial plan was solid: align goals, synchronize messaging with the KOL army, and prepare for a coordinated push. On Friday, the engines fired up, and we, as a community, started our ascent towards the first milestone. But then, we hit turbulence. A huge sell-off appeared out of nowhere, creating a significant dip in our trajectory. Luckily, the CTO team anticipated some resistance and had already initiated countermeasures.
The team pushed hard, attempting to rally the troops and regain lost ground. We rallied and made a second attempt to break through the resistance that had formed around the first milestone. The chart clearly shows the valiant efforts, but the resistance level held firm. It became apparent that something was off. Working hypothesis: we had a mole, or rather, several moles within our ranks. It seemed some participants were playing against the community, using the public milestones to their advantage.
After some intense blockchain detective work, analyzing wallet activity, our suspicions were confirmed. We had, in fact, been infiltrated by a faction that was more interested in short-term gains than our long-term mission. Faced with this internal threat, the CTO team made a critical call, requesting authorization to unlock all tokens upon reaching the first milestone. They were not sure they will be able to keep pushing, not knowing how many are playing against us. This was a tough decision, but we knew it was a necessary one. It is important to note that we anticipated this kind of scenario as a first test. We have a failsafe for this specific situation, and we decided to use it. It allowed us to unlock all the tokens on the first milestone. This ability will not be present in the future SMACs.
The moment we triggered the unlock, the sell-off was immediate and, frankly, quite revealing. It was evident that a portion of the SMAC participants were simply along for the ride, ready to dump at the first sign of profit. This was a valuable, albeit harsh, lesson. On the positive side, Genesis SMAC’s all time high ROI +261.89%. Not bad for a first run.
But here's the takeaway: we learned a lot from this. We've identified weaknesses in our initial strategy and have already implemented fixes for future SMACs. For example, it's clear that our entry requirements need to be much stricter. We'll be implementing thorough wallet analysis to ensure that only true diamond-handed believers are allowed to join future missions. Also, those public milestones? Yeah, those are going the way of the dodo. From now on, milestones will be for participants' eyes only. And, we'll be introducing dynamic milestone adjustments, a system that adapts to real-time market conditions, similar to how Bitcoin's mining difficulty adjusts. Expect a detailed breakdown of that system in the upcoming days. Finally, 35% control, while significant, wasn't enough to guarantee complete dominance. Future SMACs will aim for a larger share of the target token's supply.
All in all, we consider the Genesis SMAC a resounding success, despite the challenges. We moved fast, we learned, and we adapted. The next SMAC will be a different beast entirely. We're taking everything we learned, refining our strategies, and preparing for a significantly bigger takeover, even more effective, and more rewarding experience. Remember - OG’s never eat alone.
