Success Metrics
Success metrics are crucial for determining the outcome of a SMAC and triggering the release of vested tokens. They are defined in the initial proposal and should be:
Objective: Based on verifiable on-chain data.
Measurable: Quantifiable and easily tracked.
Relevant: Directly related to the goal of reviving the target token.
Time-Bound: Achievable within a specified timeframe.
Verifiable Success Metrics:
Market Cap Milestones: Reaching specific market capitalization targets (e.g., $50k, $100k, $500k).
Holder Growth: Increasing the number of unique holders of the target token by a certain percentage or absolute number.
Trading Volume: Achieving a certain level of daily or weekly trading volume on decentralized exchanges.
Social Engagement: Reaching targets for Twitter followers, Telegram members, Discord activity, or other relevant social media metrics.
Example:
A SMAC proposal might define the following success metrics:
Achieve a market cap of at least $250,000 within 30 days.
Increase the number of unique holders by 50% within 30 days.
Maintain an average daily trading volume of at least $10,000 for 7 consecutive days.
