Staking Program (The OG Barracks)

The OG Barracks is the staking program for $OGS, designed to reward long-term holders and encourage active participation in the ecosystem.

Staking Pools

The staking program features tiered pools with varying lockup periods and rewards:

  • Recruit Pool:

    • Lockup: 1 month

    • APR: Base APR (subject to change based on platform performance)

  • Sergeant Pool:

    • Lockup: 3 months

    • APR: Higher APR than Recruit Pool + bonus $OGS rewards

  • General Pool:

    • Lockup: 6 months

    • APR: Significantly higher APR than Sergeant Pool + bonus $OGS + exclusive NFT airdrops or other perks

  • OG General Pool:

    • Lockup: 12 months

    • APR: Maximum APR + a big airdrop + early access to new features + unique voting power.

APR values are dynamic and subject to change based on the total amount of $OGS staked and the Re-Rug Vault's performance.

Bonus Rewards & Perks

  • Bonus $OGS: Staking in higher-tier pools earns bonus $OGS rewards in addition to the base APR.

  • Exclusive NFTs: Long-term stakers may receive exclusive NFT airdrops with potential in-platform utility.

  • Early Access: Stakers may get early access to new features or services on the OG.fun platform.

  • Increased SMAC Priority/Allocation: Higher staking tiers could grant higher priority access to SMACs or a larger allocation amount.

Staking & Unstaking

  • Process: Users can stake their $OGS tokens through a simple interface on the OG.fun platform.

  • Lockup Periods: Tokens are locked for the duration of the chosen staking pool.

  • Early Withdrawal Penalty: A penalty will be applied for withdrawing staked tokens before the end of the lockup period. A portion of this penalty will go back into the staking pool, further rewarding those who remain staked.

  • Rewards Distribution: Staking rewards are distributed continuously, allowing stakers to compound their earnings.
